The mission of our Federation's Dignity Grows program is to provide individuals in need with essential hygiene products so that they are able to attend school and work and participate in community life without interruption. More than 20% of girls and women in the U.S. suffer from period poverty, lacking the financial resources to purchase basic feminine hygiene necessities. In urban areas, the number is higher.

Dignity Grows™ provides monthly personal and feminine products to women, girls, and individuals assigned female at birth, who cannot afford them. Working with Distribution Partners throughout the local community, Dignity Grows™ organizes, assembles, and distributes free of charge, reusable, branded zipper-top Dignity Totes filled with a month’s supply of personal and menstrual hygiene products.

A reusable, branded zipper-top Dignity Grows Tote is filled with a month’s supply of sanitary pads, panty liners, shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and hand wipes.
