Be-Atzmi's Mifne program serves chronically unemployed or underemployed Afula residents, helping them integrate into the workforce and achieve long-term economic self-sufficiency. The program achieves these goals by working with participants for 12 months in a unique empowerment process, which combines group workshop sessions with personal mentoring, to help participants identify their personal strengths and desires, develop necessary skills, and overcome external and internal barriers on their way to stable employment. Every $20 donation will pay for a single session of our 18-session employment advancement workshop, for one participant
