We are over 300 families strong, progressive and proudly egalitarian, with a thriving preschool and approximately one hundred students enrolled in religious school. Spirituality and education are thriving, our morning minyan is well-attended seven days a week, and we are more essential than ever to Jews across greater Fairfield county. Holiday and Shabbat services, particularly those featuring young learners, are filled with song and smiles. And, though not the largest, this congregation is an integral part of the broader community as well, the face of Judaism to our neighbors.
We’re an established (since 1952) yet dynamic Conservative synagogue that’s just the right size — small enough to foster spiritual warmth and close friendships, yet large enough to sustain a myriad of diverse activities & programs.
We’re singles, young couples, and multi-generational families with children of all age groups. We’re in our 20’s, our 80’s, and every decade in between. And everyone regardless of status, faith, or identity is welcome.
Our Mission
To be the center of Jewish spirituality for all in the Fairfield area:
- To serve as a vessel for prayer, Jewish ritual, and tradition.
- To sustain our loving Jewish community, serving its spiritual and social needs.
- To educate our youth and adults, and to instill a sense of belonging.
